Honesty in a Bottle is from a series of work inspired by Lunaria, commonly known as the honesty plant. Exploring ideas about fertility, ageing and the potentially transformative moment between life and death.
The fragility of the aged Lunaria seed pods paper like surface attracted me. Contained within these pods is potential. The potential for regrowth, to seed and continue again.

The print is made by hand in my garden studio. I use non toxic professional lightfast printmaking ink on Ivory Fabriano Rosaspina paper.
